Privacy
Privacy notice.
This notice covers two things: the details you send through the estimate request form, and the anonymous measurement data collected when you visit this website.
Estimate requests
When you submit the estimate request form, the site’s hosting provider, Netlify, processes the submission so C.M. Carpentry can receive and respond to it.
Information submitted
The form is limited to the details you choose to provide: name, city, email address, phone number, project category, project description, and contact consent.
How it is used
The submitted information is used to review your project and respond to your estimate request. C.M. Carpentry does not sell form-submission information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Retention and requests
Submissions are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the project inquiry, and meet applicable recordkeeping needs. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of a submission, email ChrisMCarpentryLLC@gmail.com.
Website analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. It records page visits and a small number of interactions — clicking the phone number or email address, starting the estimate form, and completing an estimate request. This measurement is not tied to your name and is not used to build an advertising profile.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies in your browser so that repeat visits within a session can be counted as one visit rather than several. IP addresses are anonymized before storage, so location is approximate and city-level at best. Google processes this data on C.M. Carpentry’s behalf; see Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles it. Analytics data is retained for the period configured on the analytics property and is not sold or shared with third parties.
Opting out of analytics
You can block this measurement entirely. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and Google publishes a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Many privacy extensions and browser tracking-protection features block it by default. Opting out does not affect the estimate request form — it will still work normally.
